The Process of Writing Lake of Fire:
“Lake of Fire” was written about ten years ago, in the long forgotten year of 2015. Its first recording was as a folk-blues demo song and remained unpublished for a long time. In 2025, in a surge of revisiting our music, which started with the writing of “Corruption” in 2023, and as we had moved to a different sound, “Lake of Fire” was remastered to fit the change. During the creation of the song, it was very important to focus on the apocalyptic themes of sin, judgment, and eternity. That is why besides these themes in the song, along with a heavier sound, we include a section of straight reading from the book of Revelation. We want our music to lift up the listener from the trivial and temporal business of daily life to a perspective focused on eternity.
